Operational Area of NIDS

The operational area of NIDS spreads over the disctrict of Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala, South India. The area is divided into 7 regions with 84 NIDS units for the effective monitoring and implementation.
The total population in the operational area is 1.3 million. People mainly depent upon agriculture for their livelyhood.
