ABOUT NIDS
Neyyattinkara Integral Development Society (NIDS) is a non-governmental organization which operates in Kerala, South India. It is registered under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 and is established to serve the society irrespective of caste, creed and religion, under the auspices of the diocese of Neyyattinkara.

OUR OBJECTIVES
| NIDS strongly believe in de-centralisation and people's participation for main streaming the poor. We have formed six commissions for the fulfilment on this mission. Each commission has got a variety of programmes which are planned and implemented with the participation of people in the Self Help Group (SHG), Unit, Region and Central levels. The commission representatives come together regularly to assess the progress of the programmes and to plan new strategies. Once in three months the central team consisting of the director and the Commission Secretaries sit with the regional leaders to assess the development process. |
